Gadsden Coupe Solicitors are looking to recruit a trainee solicitor for a two-year training contract.
Gadsden Coupe are a niche private client legal practice providing a full range of private client services including Personal Estate Planning for high net worth individuals, the preparation of Wills and powers of attorney, Estate and Trust administration and residential Conveyancing. As a firm we are highly respected on the Fylde Coast, Lancashire and across the North West as a provider of excellent private client services.
Our size means that our trainee solicitors will get the benefit of hands on experience from day one of their training contract whilst being supported by more senior colleagues.
We pride ourselves on attracting quality candidates and our aim is to recruit staff that will remain with the practice beyond their training contracts.
During the training contract the successful candidate will experience all aspects of private client work to ensure that upon qualification they will have a wide range of skills as they move into their post qualification role. In addition to the formal training we will provide additional skills that you will need as a solicitor such as networking, financial knowledge and marketing.
A career as a solicitor is intellectually demanding. As such we require a high level of academic achievement from candidates. In general we would ask for a minimum of A, B, B at ‘A’ Level or equivalent and a minimum 2:1 classification at degree level. However, we consider all applicants holistically and we will not automatically discount your application if these academic qualifications have not been gained.
The role would be full time and for a fixed term contract of 2 years. We may be able to accommodate flexible working in certain circumstances.
